Overview Immerse yourself in over 730 years of Lanna heritage on this premium Chiang Mai historic walking tour. Our journey begins at the iconic Three Kings Monument to uncover the fascinating founding stories of the city. Next, we walk to Wat Chiang Man, Chiang Mai's very first temple, which once served as the royal residence of King Mangrai. To experience authentic local life, we will hop on a traditional red Songthaew (shared taxi) for a short, scenic ride to the majestic Wat Chedi Luang. Here, you will marvel at the grandeur of the 500-year-old Lanna-style chedi and see the revered standing Buddha (Phra Attharasa). The guided tour concludes at Wat Chedi Luang. Your expert local guide will gladly accompany you on a walk back to the starting point at the Three Kings Monument, or you may choose to continue exploring the Old City at your own leisure.
